More ways to connect

Because a QuickSwitch PBX Kit uses standard network cables (CAT5) there are at least four ways that can be utilised to connect your kit together.

Method 1 - Standard with PC's

Called the standard method because it utilises your existing PC's as handset station point, thus utilising the network cables that already run to each PC. This effectively requires only one spare network port on your router/switch for connection to the PBX unit.

Method 2 - Standard without using PC's

Called the standard method because it utilises one cable for each component of your Kit i.e. One for the PBX unit, and one each for the handsets thus requiring 3 available ports on your router/switch.

Method 3 - Daisy Chain

Called the Daisy Chain method because it uses one cable for the PBX unit but daisy chains the handsets together, thus using only two available ports on your router/switch.

Method 4 - Full Daisy Chain

Called the Full Daisy Chain method because it uses only one port on your router/switch which is then used to daisy chain the handset and PBX unit together.
